The tiny movement.

Tiny houses, which are houses of 600 square feet or less, have exploded in popularity in recent years.  Tiny houses offer a chance to simplify, embrace efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. Tiny houses vary widely in design and purpose – some are mobile, while others are not.  Some incorporate loft bedrooms, while others maximize space on a single level.  Some are constructed with traditional materials such as wood, while others are not.

InnHabit Tiny Houses

InnHabit offers 10 stationary tiny houses for rent on a nightly basis in Medicine Park, Oklahoma.  Our tiny houses are constructed from metal shipping containers traditionally used to ship goods across the ocean.  These containers would have been discarded after one or two uses, but we are giving them new life.  The InnHabit tiny houses are all single-level tiny houses, though they are stacked on top of one another, and five offer rooftop decks.  They offer amenities similar to hotel rooms, including queen sized beds, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.  Eight of our ten tiny houses also include a full-sized trundle bed underneath the main queen bed.  The remaining two tiny houses are fully ADA accessible.

We have added a unique bed “bump out” to maximize space within our single-level tiny houses.  It is a space for the bed adjacent to the main living area – essentially a stationary “slide out” like you might see in an RV.  Our tiny houses all have small bathroom facilities with a toilet, sink, and shower stall.  The bathrooms in our two accessible units are a bit larger to accommodate wheelchairs, but they contain the same amenities.  Our tiny houses also include kitchenettes and portable dining seating.
